Grief Coaching

Grief is a deeply personal experience, and no two journeys are the same. Whether you're grieving the loss of a loved one or adjusting to a significant life change, grief coaching provides compassionate support as you process your emotions, regain your footing, and move forward at your own pace.

Grief can arise from many forms of loss—whether through the passing of a loved one, the end of a relationship, health challenges, career changes, or other significant life events.

Grief Coaching provides a compassionate space to process the emotions that accompany loss and to navigate the complex journey of healing.

This work is not about rushing through grief or trying to “fix” it. Instead, coaching offers support as you honor what has been lost, make meaning from your experience, and gradually move forward in a way that respects your unique journey.

Support begins here with Level 7 Coaching

Who grief coaching is for

What grief coaching is...and what it isn't

What grief coaching is...and what it isn't

Grief coaching may be right for you if you're experiencing:

• The loss of a spouse, partner, family member, or close friend

• The loss of a beloved pet

• Divorce or the end of a significant relationship

• An empty nest or changing family roles

• Retirement or the loss of a career or professional identity

• A serious health diagnosis or changes in your physical abilities

• The loss of hopes, dreams, or plans for the future

• Major life transitions that leave you feeling uncertain, overwhelmed, or disconnected

You don't have to walk through grief alone. Wherever you are in your journey, you'll find a safe, compassionate space to be heard, supported, and encouraged.

What grief coaching is...and what it isn't

Grief coaching provides compassionate guidance, encouragement, and practical support as you move through the many emotions and changes that often accompany loss. Together, we'll create space to process your experiences, identify meaningful goals, develop healthy coping strategies, and take intentional steps forward at a pace that feels right for you.

Grief coaching is not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment, and it is not intended to diagnose or treat mental health conditions. Instead, coaching focuses on the present and future, helping you navigate your current circumstances while honoring your loss and the person you are becoming through it.

If you're experiencing severe depression, thoughts of self-harm, or other mental health concerns that require clinical care, we'll encourage you to seek support from a licensed mental health professional. Coaching can often complement therapy, and many clients find value in working with both.

There is no right timeline for grief, and there is no expectation that you'll simply "move on." Our work together is about helping you move forward with compassion for yourself, while continuing to honor the people, relationships, dreams, or seasons you've lost.

The holistic approach

What grief coaching is...and what it isn't

The holistic approach

Grief touches every part of who we are. It can affect our emotions, physical health, relationships, daily routines, sense of purpose, and even the way we see ourselves. That's why our coaching takes a whole-person approach, recognizing that healing and growth don't happen in just one area of life.

Together, we'll create a supportive space to explore your unique experience, honor your loss, strengthen healthy coping strategies, and reconnect with what brings meaning and hope. Through compassionate conversation, practical tools, mindfulness, reflection, and personalized action steps, we'll help you move forward at a pace that feels right for you.

There is no timeline for grief and no expectation that you'll leave your loss behind. Instead, our goal is to help you carry it with greater resilience while continuing to live a life that feels meaningful, purposeful, and authentically your own.

What to expect

The holistic approach

Every grief journey is unique, and our coaching sessions are tailored to meet you where you are. There is no set agenda, no expectation that you'll have all the answers, and no pressure to move faster than you're ready.

Together, we'll create a safe, supportive space where you can share your experiences, explore your thoughts and emotions, and identify practical steps that help you move forward with greater confidence and intention.

Depending on your needs and goals, coaching may include:

• Journaling prompts and between-session practices

• Accountability, encouragement, and ongoing support

Our work together is always guided by your goals, your pace, and your unique circumstances. Whether you're taking your first step or continuing your journey, you'll have a compassionate partner walking alongside you.

FAQ (continued)

How is grief coaching different from therapy?

Grief coaching focuses on helping you navigate your current circumstances and move through life's changes with practical support, encouragement, and accountability. Therapy is provided by licensed mental health professionals who diagnose and treat mental health conditions. Coaching and therapy can often complement one another.

Who can benefit from grief coaching?

Grief coaching is for anyone experiencing the loss of a loved one, relationship, career, health, dream, or another significant life change. You don't have to wait until you "feel ready" to seek support.

How soon after a loss should I begin coaching?

There is no right or wrong time. Some people seek support shortly after a loss, while others reach out months or even years later. Grief has no timeline, and coaching meets you wherever you are.

What happens during a coaching session?

Each session is personalized to your needs and goals. Together we'll explore what's on your mind, identify challenges, discuss practical strategies, and create meaningful action steps that support your well-being.
